Ad Operations Specialist (mid or senior)

At pubGENIUS, you will be working on a variety of challenging projects with sophisticated requirements, and a ton of traffic (well on our way to a billion ad requests per day). We have been experiencing massively accelerated growth since the beginning of 2021 and are excited to invite skilled and highly motivated individuals such as yourself to join our team. We specialize in engineering customized solutions for digital publishers and advertising operations shops that are looking to maximize their revenue potential.
The role
We are looking for a Ad Operations Specialist to join our adops team. You will be responsible for the most difficult programmatic advertising challenges we face, working alongside our more junior adops specialists, as well as participating as a mentor to them. You will be responsible for the management of key technical advertising projects on our new clients, as well as overseeing all QA and technical implementations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in technical ad operations such as QA’ing tags and creative
  • Understanding of basic web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with ad servers such as Google Ad Manager
  • Excellent communication and fluent English required
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Team player who is comfortable operating in a fast and dynamic startup environment
  • Can work in American Eastern Time (EST/EDT).

Great to have

  • prebid and prebid server experience
  • Knowledge of oRTB
  • Have worked with WordPress, Arc, Drupal or other CMS
  • Yield management experience
  • Writing and understanding SQL queries
  • Software development or computer science background
